Fall Creek Falls State Park

The following trails are closed at Fall Creek Falls until further notice.

  • The entire Lower Loop Trail is permanently closed.

The trails below are closed due to the Oct. 6 flooding. 

  • Upper Loop Trail

2022-12-09: The Virgin Falls Trail is open from the Scotts Gulf Road Trailhead. However, we urge hikers to use caution at the cable crossings due to high water levels. For an update on the flooding conditions, visitors can call the Virgin Falls Office at Dog Cove, phone (931)739-6747.  Or call the Virgin Falls Manager Stuart Carroll at (423)414-1510.

10-14-21: Heavy rains brought severe flooding to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Cabins 11-20 were impacted by the flooding. The park is currently assessing the damage and working with guests who have upcoming reservations. We appreciate your patience during the recovery process. 

All Fall Creek Falls Golf Course facilities will close on December 23, 2022, and reopen (weather permitting) on January 2, 2023.

Lodge at Fall Creek Falls Event Venues

The Lodge at Fall Creek Falls features over 5,000 square feet of flexible indoor event space. Conference and meeting spaces are available inside the Lodge and at several locations throughout the park. The on-site catering, meeting facilities, and outdoor recreation make it easy for groups to meet, eat, and play. It is an ideal destination for corporate retreats, team-building excursions, weddings, and trainings.

Fall Creek Falls Recreation Hall

Located in the Village Green, this recently renovated indoor multi-room building can accommodate up to 175 people. The building features several rooms in various sizes (one with wood fireplace), banquet room, new modern kitchenette, bridal prep room, bathroom facilities, and separate auditorium with elevated stage.  

Rental times are 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The Rec Hall is adjacent to Swimming Pool, Snack Bar, General Store and Fall Creek Falls Outfitters.  

There is ample parking near this venue.

Amphitheater at Fall Creek Falls

$110 per day

The Fall Creek Falls Amphitheater is an open-air venue that holds up to 350 people. It was completely renovated in 2016 and features a stage area and bench seating. There is ample parking and the amphitheater is ADA compliant. The amphitheater is located near the recreation hall and swimming pool. 

Please note: Due to the Amphitheater being located near the Fall Creek Falls Swimming Pool, there may be loud noise on certain days from swimming pool patrons. 

Fall Creek Falls Liberty School at Andy Field

$208 per day

The Liberty School is an idyllic setting for a small wedding or reception. This area is located at the North entrance to the park and features an open field surrounded by forest. A replica of the log-built historical Liberty School is a scenic backdrop for small events. Your rental also includes indoor access to this building. There is limited parking (nine cars max) and electricity on-site, but there is no water or restrooms available. Person capacity: up to 50.

Secret Overlook

$416 per day

Shhhh. This is our best-kept secret at Fall Creek Falls State Park. For a cozy and intimate setting, we offer this area for small private ceremonies. Seeing is believing at these indescribable surroundings, which must be accessed via a short walk. There is limited parking a short distance from the site. Maximum of five cars. Person capacity: 50.
