Paris Landing State Park

The pool at Lodge Paris Landing is open and available to lodge guests between Memorial and Labor Day. However, the park pool will not reopen as of Summer, 2022. Unfortunately, the pool is 50 years old, visitation is down 50 percent and lake swimming opportunities are available. Due to these factors, Tennessee State Parks can no longer justify to Tennessee taxpayers the costs associated with keeping this pool in operation. However, we are excited to have the opportunity to invest in a more fiscally responsible outdoor recreation option Paris Landing State Park that would provide year-round benefits.

The Marker 66 Restaurant at Paris Landing State Park is closed for the season. It will reopen in 2023.

Paris Landing State Park has several picnic shelters/pavilions that may be reserved for your next event or gathering. Depending on the shelter, the maximum capacity ranges from 60 to 100 people. The shelters are equipped with picnic tables, a grill, and access to restrooms. Depending upon the shelter, a playground, tennis courts, or an open area amphitheater is nearby.

All shelters open at 7 a.m. and close at dusk.

Small Shelter (SS)

This lighted picnic shelter has an accessible shady area and is within walking distance of the nearby playground and tennis courts. There are electrical outlets and water faucets are available at this picnic shelter. 

Large Shelter (LS)

This accessible picnic shelter has a view overlooking Kentucky Lake and the open area amphitheater. There are electrical outlets and water faucets and a charcoal grill. Parking and restrooms are nearby. 

Big Eagle Base

The Big Big Eagle Base is an approximately 2.5-acre secluded area situated on the shores of Kentucky Lake. It features almost 700 feet of lake frontage. The majority of the area is a grassy open space that is a perfect venue for any private event.

Amenities include a picnic shelter, three fire-rings, a large charcoal grill, and a kayak/canoe launch. Limited water and electricity are available on site. This site will accommodate groups of up to 75-80 people. The area may be rented for $258 per day. Please call the park to reserve the Big Eagle Base.

Full-day shelter reservations may be made online or by calling the park.     

Picnic shelters or pavilions may be reserved online up to one year in advance with a paid reservation fee. There is a $5 cancellation fee for picnic shelter or pavilion reservations canceled eight days or more in advance of the reserved date. Reservations canceled seven days or less in advance of the reserved date forfeit all paid fees.
