Notice Update March 20, 2019: The Lower Loop Trail is closed from Backcountry Camping Area 1 to Backcountry Camping Area 2, due to the swinging bridge being washed out.
Campsite Area 1 can be accessed by traveling the Lower Loop trail counter clockwise while Campsite Area 2 is only accessible by traveling the Lower Loop clockwise.
If you will be camping in Areas 1 or 2, please call the Nature Center at 423-881-5708 to get the latest trail/hiking route info, to access these camping areas.
PUBLIC NOTICE: Feb. 6, 2019: Please be aware that the Wheeler Farm Loop and Prater Place Trail will be subject to closure with little or no notice until April 1st due to weather dependent resource management activities.
