Located in Standing Stone State Forest on the Cumberland Plateau, Standing Stone State Park cabins overlook Standing Stone, (Kelly), Lake. The cabins sit in the middle of 11,000-acres of state forest that is noted for its geology and natural diversity. Each cabin offers Wi-Fi, allowing guests to work and play from the park. Cabin guests have access to dozens of activities including boating, picnicking, swimming, hiking, fishing, and birding. In addition, the cabins are close in proximity to attractions such as Dale Hollow Lake, Cummins Falls State Park, and Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park. Whatever your adventure, Standing Stone cabins are the perfect place to enjoy the beauty and history of Middle Tennessee.

Deluxe Three-Bedroom Cabins

Standing Stone State Park has seven three-bedroom deluxe cabins that are open year-round and sleep eight to 10 people. All the deluxe cabins have one bathroom, central heat and air, a kitchen, a satellite television, and Wi-Fi.
Four of the deluxe cabins have three double beds and two single beds, accommodating up to eight people.
Three of the deluxe cabins have four double beds and two single beds, accommodating up to ten people. These cabins also have a gas log fireplace (seasonal).
Cabins are available by reservation year-round with a two-night minimum (holidays and other special events may require longer minimum stays) and can be reserved up to a year in advance online with reservations being made through the park office up to two years in advance. Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM. Pets are only permitted in pet-friendly cabins. Maximum consecutive stay from March 1 through November 30 in any cabin is 14 nights. From December 1 to February 29, the maximum stay is 28 nights. Any request for stay lengths beyond these limits must be approved by the Director of Operations or the Director of Hospitality.
Rustic Cabins

The park has 14 rustic cabins that can accommodate four to eight people. The cabins vary in size and layout. All of these cabins have central heat and air conditioning, kitchens, bathrooms, gas log fireplaces (seasonal), and Wi-Fi. There is no television.
Ten of these rustic cabins ( 3,4,5,7,9,10,11,13,16,17) received complete kitchen and bathroom upgrades in October 2020, along with new windows, appliances, and furnishings. Hardwood floors throughout each cabin were refinished and new hardwood flooring was installed in each kitchen and bathroom.
The smallest of the cabins has two sets of single bunk beds and the largest includes four double beds, with various arrangements in between.
Please Note: November - March rustic cabins 2, 6, 13, 17, 18 and the Overton Lodge are not available for rent.

Pet Policy
We allow pets in 20 cabins. Only five cabins do not allow pets (cabins 6, 6A, 7, 8, and 8A). There is a $20 per pet charge per night. Additional charges may apply for any damage that may occur to carpet or furnishings. To learn more visit our Pet Policy.
