Rates: $110 — $221 Taxes and fees are not included. Rates subject to change. $5 reservation fee per cabin is non-refundable. $10 cancellation fee per cabin applies. Pets are only permitted in designated pet-friendly cabins. There is an additional charge of $20 per night, per pet.
Meeman-Shelby Forest has six two-bedroom rustic cabins situated along the shoreline of Poplar Tree Lake in a heavily wooded section of the park. These newly renovated cabins can sleep up to four people. They have two bedrooms that each has one bed along with one full-size pull-out couch. In Cabins 1 - 5, the beds are queen size. In Cabin 6, the beds are full size. These cozy cabins are ideal for family vacations, couples' weekend, fishing trip, or a girls' getaway.
The Meeman-Shelby Forest cabins are completely equipped for housekeeping with a fully equipped kitchen. Linens are provided. Firewood is supplied during the winter months. Want to add a jon boat to your cabin rental? Call us at 901-876-5215 to reserve one!
Cabins are available by reservation year-round with a two-night minimum (holidays and other special events may require longer minimum stays) and can be reserved up to a year in advance online with reservations being made through the park office up to two years in advance. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Pets are only permitted in Cabins 1 and 5. Maximum consecutive stay from March 1 through November 30 in any cabin is 14 nights. From December 1 to February 29, the maximum stay is 28 nights. Any request for stay lengths beyond these limits must be approved by the Director of Operations or the Director of Hospitality.
