David Crockett State Park

The David Crockett State Park pool will not reopen as of Summer, 2022. Unfortunately, visitation at the pool is down 49 percent over the last 10 years. Due to these factors, Tennessee State Parks can no longer justify to Tennessee taxpayers the costs associated with keeping this pool in operation. However, we are excited to have the opportunity to invest in a more fiscally responsible outdoor recreation option David Crockett State Park that would provide year-round benefits.

David Crockett State Park cabin rentals are perfect for anyone traveling along I-65 between Huntsville, Alabama, and Nashville, Tennessee. The cabins are located less than five minutes away from local shops and restaurants at the heart of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Visitors to David Crockett cabins will enjoy the charm and hospitality of the local community while surrounded by over 1,000 acres of serene forests. Cabin guests can explore the history of David Crockett and his time in Middle Tennessee at the park's museum as well as enjoy other park activities such as hiking, biking, and fishing. The lakeside cabins at David Crockett are some of the nicest in the park system; providing guests with modern comfort and quality. Whatever your adventure, you are sure to find it at the David Crockett cabins.

Premium Two-Bedroom Cabins

Rates: $177 — $353 Taxes and fees are not included. Rates subject to change. $5 reservation fee per cabin is non-refundable. $10 cancellation fee per cabin applies. Pets are only permitted in designated pet-friendly cabins. There is an additional charge of $20 per night, per pet.

David Crockett is proud to feature seven modern cabins near beautiful Lake Lindsey. Available year-round, each cabin is completely furnished with two bedrooms, two baths and a full kitchen, and a covered patio. These unique modern accommodations were designed and built with energy efficiency in mind. They are the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified vacation homes in the eastern United States or available at a state park.

The energy-efficient cabins are heated and cooled by a Geo-Thermally powered HVAC unit. The gas fireplaces will be available from November 1 until March 31 in order for the park to meet LEEDS and GREEN Certification requirements for energy conservation.

Cabins are available by reservation year-round with a two-night minimum (holidays and other special events may require longer minimum stays) and can be reserved up to a year in advance online with reservations being made through the park office up to two years in advance. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Pets are only permitted in Cabin 6. Maximum consecutive stay from March 1 through November 30 in any cabin is 14 nights. From December 1 to February 29, the maximum stay is 28 nights. Any request for stay lengths beyond these limits must be approved by the Director of Operations or the Director of Hospitality.
