Cabins
Chickasaw State Park rents lakeside cabins just 30 minutes from Jackson, Tennessee. The park's central feature, Lake Placid, provides a beautiful setting for hiking, paddling, fishing and swimming. Visitors will also enjoy access to several playgrounds for children, access to guided horseback riding during the busy season, and an adjacent golf course. At night, the park provides a beautiful setting for enjoying the night sky.
Beyond the park borders, visitors will enjoy exploring the nearby state forest, Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge, Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park, Big Hill Pond State Park, and the cities of Henderson, Bolivar, and Jackson.

Rates: $116 — $232 Taxes and fees are not included. Rates subject to change. $5 reservation fee per cabin is non-refundable. $10 cancellation fee per cabin applies. Pets are only permitted in designated pet-friendly cabins. There is an additional charge of $20 per night, per pet.
Chickasaw offers six two-bedroom cabins nestled among tall pines and located within easy access to Lake Placid. These cabins will sleep up to six people. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. The couch in the living room contains a fold-out queen bed.
The kitchens contain full-sized appliances as well as utensils for cooking and serving. All of your bed and bath linens are provided. These items can be exchanged out for new linens by contacting our housekeeping staff.
In the main living area is a wood-burning fireplace. Wood is provided from October to March. The cabin also contains a TV with satellite service and a telephone.
Cabins are available by reservation year-round. Cabins can be reserved up to a year in advance online with reservations being made through the park office up to two years in advance. Check-in time for the cabin is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM. Pets are only permitted in Cabins 8, 9 and 10. Maximum consecutive stay from March 1 through November 30 in any cabin is 14 nights. From December 1 to February 29, the maximum stay is 28 nights. Any request for stay lengths beyond these limits must be approved by the Director of Operations or the Director of Hospitality.

Chickasaw offers seven one-bedroom historic Works Progress Administration (WPA) cabins nestled among tall pines and located within easy access to Lake Placid.
These cabins feature a queen bed in the main living area and two twin beds in an adjacent room. These cabins will accommodate up to four people.
