Bledsoe Creek State Park

Swimming

Although Bledsoe Creek is surrounded by water, the park does not have any designated swimming areas and swimming is not allowed. However, there are several places nearby that offer swimming and sand beaches, and are great places for cooling off!

OLD HICKORY LAKE SWIMMING AREA

Old Hickory Lake has three day-use fee areas located at Cedar Creek and Laguardo. Each area offers great swim beaches, picnic tables, grills, restrooms, and launching ramps. The daily cost is $5/vehicle or $2/per person. Annual day-use passes ($40) can be purchased at the Old Hickory Resource Office, Hendersonville, TN, or from the attendant’s booth at the day-use areas. For more information on the day-use areas and campgrounds please call the Resource Manager’s Office at 615-822-4846.

Recreation Area Parking

The volume of cars in the lots will vary on any given day and parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Day Use fee only allows the entrance to use recreational facilities on the day of purchase and does not guarantee parking if a customer chooses to leave the recreation area and return if the recreation area becomes full.
