Radnor Lake State Park

Birding

Diving ducks such as Ring-necked and Canvasback are best seen near the center to west side of the lake, while marsh ducks such as Gadwall and American Widgeon prefer the shallower east end and the Big Slough. Observation decks are located along Otter Creek Road and along the Lake Trail. During spring and fall migration, birding the oak-hickory woods is popular and easiest along Otter Creek Road, the dam, Lake Trail and old caretaker residence.
