Indian Rockhouse Trail - 0.20 Miles - Easy. This short trail spurs into the Pickett State Forest and features a large rock shelter.
Island Trail - 0.30 Miles - Easy. A short loop that crosses a natural sandstone bridge over Arch Lake and follows the island shoreline through an open forest full of mountain laurel and wild blueberries. This trail also features a historic CCC trail shelter.
Tunnel Trail - 0.45 Miles - Moderate. Connecting Hidden Passage Trail to the John Muir Trail at the historic railroad tunnel. This trail is located on Pickett State Forest property.
Lake View Trail - 0.50 Miles - Easy. Overlooking Arch Lake, this short half-mile trail features a historic CCC trail shelter.
Moccasin Rock Trail - 0.65 Miles - Moderate. This trail navigates through an open hardwood forest and connects the Ridge Trail to Pogue Creek Canyon State Natural Area.
Double Falls Trail - 0.70 Miles - Moderate. This trail spurs from the Hidden Passage Trail and features a waterfall. This trail is located on Pickett State Forest property.
Bluff Trail - 0.75 Miles - Easy. The trail follows a sandstone bluff line. Highlights include multiple rock shelters and a historic CCC trail shelter.
John Muir Trail - 0.85 Miles - Moderate. The John Muir Trailhead is located on Highway 154. The two mile trail section in Pickett State Forest follows Rock Creek. It features several creek crossings and a historic railroad tunnel, before continuing into Big South Fork. The section from the trailhead to the historic railroad tunnel and intersection with the Tunnel Trail is 0.85 miles.
Ladder Trail - 0.95 Miles - Moderate. This loop trail follows Thompson Creek and features two single-rung ladders along a sandstone bluff line. This trail also features a historic CCC trail shelter.
Natural Bridge Trail - 1.00 Miles - Easy. This trail navigates through an open hardwood forest and features an impressive natural sandstone bridge that spans 86 feet in length and 35 feet in height.
Lake Trail - 1.55 Miles - Easy. An easy hike that follows the lake shoreline. Along the route, a historic CCC constructed dam and three trail shelters. The trail passes behind five historic CCC constructed rental cabins.
Hazard Cave Trail - 1.60 Miles - Moderate. A loop trail that follows a sandstone bluff line through an open hardwood forest. Its main feature is Hazard Cave which is home to the endangered Cumberland Sandwort and often features a rare species of glow worms.
Ridge Trail - 2.50 Miles - Moderate. Open hardwood forest, a sandstone bluff line, rock shelters, and several small bridges that pass over Thompson Creek are a few of the highlights of this moderate trail.
Hidden Passage Trail - 7.80 Miles - Moderate. Meandering through the hardwood forest, this trail features several miles of sandstone bluff lines, rock shelters, a natural arch, and Crystal Falls. This trail also provides access to Double Falls and Tunnel Trails. A portion of this trail is located on Pickett State Forest property.
