The creek mouths and embayments are popular for spring crappie fishing from late March through May. Bluegill and Redear Sunfish are also commonly harvested from the lake. Bass fishing is best in the spring and fall. Catfish are commonly caught in summer and fall. 

Paris Landing State Park has a full-service marina with covered and uncovered slips, four lane ramp and overnight parking lot with charging outlets. Local guides and tournaments are plentiful.
