The park has two, beautiful 54-acre lakes, perfect for paddling. Lake Placid is in the main part of the park and is open to the public year-round. The boat dock is open Memorial Day through the first weekend in August and then, weekends only through October 16. Kayaks, canoes, SUPs, and pedal boats can be rented at the boat dock during this time. Personal canoes and kayaks may be launched from the boat dock, year-round. 

Lake LaJoie is located eight miles west of the park within the Lake LaJoie Group Camp. Lake LaJoie is open to the public only when the Group Camp is vacant. When vacant, personal canoes and kayaks, are allowed. Please call the park office to check availability.
