Long Hunter State Park

Alpine Tower Adventure

The Alpine Tower, a 50 foot tall structure, located on site, is designed to present the same challenges as rock climbing and high ropes course elements. This structure provides many routes and difficulty options, allowing for hours of fun and excitement.

The Alpine Tower experience also addresses the objectives such as:  Confidence, Trust, Support, Encouragement  and Teamwork.

The Park Rangers at Long Hunter are certified instructors and facilitate the Alpine Tower and the Team Challenge. They will work with groups to address: team building; group cohesion; trust; support; communication; judgment; decision making; sense of personal confidence; physical agility and coordination. No one is ever forced to do anything they do not want to do, although participants are strongly encouraged to step out of their comfort zone.

The minimum age for participation on the Alpine Tower is 10 years old.    A maximum of 12 participants per group are permitted in order to preserve the quality of the experience, safety precautions are our first priority.

Reservations are required to use the tower. To reserve a date or for more information, please contact the park office at 615-885-2422. Please reserve your program in a timely manner to allow a facilitator to prepare for your program.
