Caving

Bunkum Cave is open to the public from May 1 through August 31. To ensure that Tennessee State Parks continues to provide quality areas for recreational caving, all cavers should register online or with park management three days before your visit. To register and learn more, click here.

Interpretive Programs

Historical Garden

During the warmer weather, park staff tend an 1870s  vegetable and herb garden. The garden is used for programming during the summer months.

Speaker Series

Join us at the park office on the first Saturday of the month at 1:00 PM central for our monthly Speaker Series. Topics vary, but  are relevant to the cultural and historical significance of the park.

Planned Programs

Cordell Hull Birthplaces offers educational Interpretive programs to school groups. Please call the park for more information.

Hiking

The Bunkum Cave Trail is a 1.25 mile, moderate hiking trail.
