Exhibits on early American Settlement, the Civil War, one of the largest collections of wild game trophies in the western hemisphere, and the original stones that covered the grave of Meriwether Lewis for over 150 years. At milepost 385.9 on Natchez Trace parkway, you can visit the monument at Meriwether Lewis’s grave and see interpretive exhibits in a log cabin near the site of Grinder's Stand, the inn where he stayed. READ MORE.

Now restored, this 1896 depot welcomed new settlers to the area. Later, it witnessed visits from Thomas Edison and William Wrigley, and served as a work site for German prisoners of war during World War II. Today it is the official visitors center of Hohenwald and Lewis County where you’ll find a hot cup of coffee, friendly folks, and information on the beautiful area. READ MORE.
