About the Course

Warriors’ Path Golf Course is an 18-hole course located on the shores of Fort Patrick Henry Lake and the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. This course is one of the most popular in the Tennessee State Parks system. The par 72 course was designed by George Cobb and opened for play in 1972. Situated along the rolling countryside there is a scenic view of the lake from the number five tee. This course is a favorite of many golfers in the Tri-Cities area and also features a large practice facility complete with a large teeing ground, practice green, and practice bunker.

Tee Time Policy

Tee times are required seven days a week. Reservation can be made six days in advance.

Directions and other info

Warriors’ Path is located in Kingsport just a few miles south of the VA state line, only 25 minutes driving time southwest of Bristol and 1-1/2 hours driving time northeast of Knoxville. From Interstate 81, take exit 59. Travel north on Route 36 and turn right on Hemlock Road and continue to the park entrance.

Accommodations

The park has 94 campsites, all with water and electric hookups, tables, and grills. 

Modern bathhouses provide hot showers and lavatories. There are two dumping stations available for self-contained RVs and Trailer rigs. The length of stay is two weeks year-round. The campground check-in station is near the campground entrance. For more info call 423-239-7141.

For your convenience, you can purchase firewood at the camp store during your stay.
