Eat REAL® announced today that Henry Horton State Park’s restaurant, The Governor’s Table, in Chapel Hill, Tennessee, has become the first state park in the nation to achieve REAL Certified Status, a nationally recognized standard for foodservice operations focused on nutrition and sustainability.

New Bridge Ribbon-cutting at Chickasaw State Park

On Wednesday, May 23, Tennessee State Parks will unveil a new bridge at Chickasaw State Park. Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) Deputy Commissioner Brock Hill will share details on other planned park improvements, including renovated campgrounds, historic cabin restorations and upgrades to the park’s wastewater treatment plant.
