TN Promise Saturday
COVID-19: To ensure a safe and quality experience in the parks, we recommend that you practice safe distancing, wear a mask, and read about other ways to stay healthy by visiting our Keeping Visitors Healthy webpage. Also, please be aware that many events have smaller group sizes this year. We recommend you sign up sooner, rather than later!
Tennessee State Parks and State Natural Areas are offering a variety of volunteer events across the state on June 27, 2020 to help TN Promise Scholars log community service hours required to meet their scholarship commitments. It’s a great opportunity for TN Promise Scholars to improve a state park or natural area and bank volunteer service hours while having a little bit of fun at the same time. Volunteer events are listed below by park and include meet up time, location, duration, activity description, and point of contact. Events are still being added, so be sure to check back regularly if you don't see a park near you.
We ask all TN Promise participants to complete the online registration form that is available on the details page of each event. These RSVPs will help our park staff be better prepared for their volunteer crews and also make it easier to provide information on volunteer hours on behalf of participants.
Also, please be aware that many events have smaller group sizes this year, due to COVID-19. We recommend you sign up sooner, rather than later!
If you have any questions or need assistance making your reservation for a TN Promise volunteer event, please contact Nancy Schelin at firstname.lastname@example.org or 615-532-5249.
NOTE: Not all events are being held on Saturday, June 27. Please check the date of the event before registering.
