On Monday, August 21, 2017, a total eclipse of the sun will sweep across the United States. This is the first total solar eclipse to affect the continental U.S. since 1979, and Tennessee is a great place to view this celestial wonder. The next total solar eclipse to traverse North America won't occur until April 8, 2024.
