Governor Haslam has issued a burn ban that prohibits campfires and burning of brush, vegetation, trash and building materials. In addition to the Governor’s ban on campfires, Norris Dam is prohibiting the use of grills.

MEN'S BATHHOUSE/WEST CAMPGROUND CLOSURE as of Friday, Sept. 30: The men’s bathhouse in the west campground is closed indefinitely. Alternative options are available for campers. For more information, please visit the Norris Dam Campground web page. View Page.
Lenoir Museum Closure: The Lenoir Museum at Norris Dam State Park will be getting new windows and carpet. Due to the construction dust and movement of artifacts, we will be closing the museum to the public November and December. Thank you for your patience while we make these improvements.
Rates: $100 Taxes and fees are not included. Rates subject to change.
Norris Dam State Park has two picnic shelters/pavilions. Both shelters are equipped with picnic tables, grill and access to restrooms. Shelter 1 can accommodate 40 people and is first come, first serve. Shelter 2 can accommodate 80 people and may be reserved.
Full day shelter reservations may be made online or by calling the park. Picnic shelters or pavilions may be reserved online up to one year in advance with a paid reservation fee. There is a $3 cancellation fee for picnic shelter or pavilion reservations cancelled 8 days or more in advance of the reserved date. Reservations cancelled 7 days or less in advance of the reserved date forfeit all paid fees.Reserve Now
