PUBLIC NOTICE: Due to being in the path of the Solar Eclipse on Monday, Aug. 21, Burgess Falls is expecting larger than usual visitation. If you plan to visit the park, we urge you to arrive early as roads may be congested. Please be aware that areas of the park may be closed at the discretion of park management and if the park reaches capacity, gates may be closed. There will be no parking outside the gates or on county roads or the state highway.
UPDATE: Burgess Falls has reached capacity as of 8 AM on August 21. Window Cliffs is nearly full. Prospective visitors should divert to other public viewing areas in the Cookeville area.
Public Notice: The staircase at the main falls is inaccessible. The overlook is accessible, but the stairs down to the main falls will remained closed until further notice.
