Cummins Falls State Park


WATER UPDATE March 27, 2017: Swimming in cold water is DANGEROUS!  The water temperature at Cummins Falls is not yet warm enough to be safe for swimming. Wadding in knee deep water while crossing the stream to get to the bottom of the waterfall may be okay, as long as the water is no higher than your knee. But getting in water where most of body is immersed is dangerous. Check out what the National Center for Cold Water Safety has to say, link below.

Hours of Operation

Park Hours are  8:00 AM until 6:00 PM. 

The gorge area closes at 5:00 PM.

People at the bottom of the waterfall must start walking out at 5:00 PM in order to get back to the parking lot and be out of the park by 6:00 PM.

The park address is 390 Cummins Falls Lane, which is off of Cummins Mill Road. Just drive about 1/2 mile past the point shown on the GPS and turn left on Blackburn Fork Road. Drive about 300 yards and turn left.
