Personal kayaks and canoes can be launched to the Nolichuckey River from designated access points within the park. For larger boats and ease of launching, a boat ramp is available during park hours and is located at the south end of the park near the mouth of the Big Limestone Creek.

August Hours of Operation: The pool is only open on WEEKENDS from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We will keep this schedule until Labor Day Weekend.
Admission is $5 per person, $2.50 for campers. A diving well with two, one-meter boards is available. Picnic tables and a drink machine are nearby. For groups of 20 people or more, who have rented the nearby picnic pavilion, admission is $2.50 per person. Picnic pavilion guests must all be at the ticket booth at the same time to enter the pool area with pavilion receipt.
Seasonal passes are available for $100 plus tax for 40 visits.
Pool parties can be scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays. The fees are $225 for up to 100 guests, $250 for 100-200 guests and $300 for more than 200 guests. For more information, contact 423-257-2167.
The pool is closed after Labor Day weekend.
The Nolichucky flows through the park and provides fishing opportunities for a variety of fresh water species. Smallmouth bass and catfish are popular catches. Bank fishing and wade fishing can provide good catches. Bait, tackle, snacks and state fishing licenses are for sale at nearby off-park locations.
Trails range from easy to moderate, providing beautiful views and ample opportunities for wildlife and wildflower viewing.
