The park has 20 beautiful cabins situated on the wooded slopes of Tims Ford Lake. The cabins are completely equipped, including appliances, cooking, serving utensils, and linens. Every cabin features a gas fireplace, outdoor balconies; one TV with 12 channels of DirecTV and a charcoal grill. Cabins have two bedrooms with two double beds in each bedroom.

Two night minimum stays are required for most reservations. During some holidays, a three night minimum stay with a peak rate charge will be required. In June and July, all cabins have a 7-night minimum reservation requirement with arrival on a Sunday (for cabins # 1-10) or arrival on a Monday (for cabins # 11-20).

Rates: $8 — $25

Tims Ford State Park offers a 52-site campground, with water, electric (30 amp) service, picnic table, and fire ring with grill at each site, and a dumping station available at the entrance to the campground. The campground can accommodate RV’s up to 40 feet in length on several sites and are able to accommodate both RV’s and tents. The campsites are limited to 6 people per site, and one (1) RV and one (1) tent, or two tents per site. Two of the campsites are ADA sites, and are set aside for that reason. The campground has two bathhouses, centrally located that provide hot showers, lavatories and commodes. A playground is located within the campground, and several other playgrounds are located throughout the park.

Campsites are available year round and the maximum stay is two weeks.

Through May 1, 2014 the Fairview Campground at Tims Ford State Park will be closed for renovations. The Main Campground is available.
