March 9, 2015  |  Permalink

Tennessee State Parks will offer free, guided hikes on Saturday, March 21. The Spring Hikes will be offered at each of the 56 state parks.

With the recent weather in Tennessee, we are all longing for warmer days and spring wildflowers. The Spring Hikes are a great way to welcome the season, get outside and enjoy nature with friends and family at one of our great state parks.

From Roan Mountain to Harrison Bay to Meeman-Shelby Forest and every state park in between, the 2015 Spring Hikes are designed for all ages and abilities. Some hikes will be approximately one mile in length and tailored for novice hikers, while others are lengthier and geared toward more experienced hikers.
