Longer days, warmer weather and the emerging spring wildflowers are sure signs that spring is here. Join us on Saturday, March 21 to welcome the new season.


Our annual Spring Hike is a great opportunity to shed the winter blahs, make new friends and explore Tennessee State Parks natural side.  Whether you are looking for a short nature trail or an adventurous, all-day endeavor through a park's most remote stretches, you'll find what you're looking for at a Tennessee State Park. Happy Spring, from Tennessee State Parks!

Spring Hike - WWI and Tennessee History Hike

Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, Mar 21 @ 1:00 pm
Join us on Saturday afternoon for a two mile walk through the park, the grounds of the Tennessee State Capitol, and the War Memorial Plaza.

As part of this statewide event, Radnor Lake is offering three hikes. Each hike highlights unique features of the park with hikes varying in length, difficulty and interpretation. Hikes start at 6 a.m. 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Spring Hike - Discovery Trail

Gather your friends and family together and join us for a fun, four mile nature and history hike. There will be a Birds of Prey program following the hike.

Spring Hike - Early Spring Wildflowers and Waterfalls of Rocky Fork

Warriors’ Path State Park, Mar 21 @ 9:00 am
Enjoy the rich wild scenes at beautiful Rocky Fork. This seven mile hike includes a 100 foot waterfall, pure flowing streams and the high country of Chigger Ridge.
